tugrikOkay, I admit it, I'm a gadget freak. I shelled out for the Nokia 9290 the moment it was available, after having waited for word of its release for nearly 8 months now.
I detest palms and most PDAs, but love these little Symbian tools. It's an amazing upgrade from my chunky old Nokia 9000 (the same one![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tuftears has).
I don't know what's cooler about it... the fact that I have my ring set to a .MP3 of Daft Punk (harder/better/faster/stronger), or the fact it shouts various Samuel L. Jackson quotes at me whenreality_fox calls. I can assign a ringtone/wave/mp3 for every contact card in the phone, and have 256M of memory to fill. I'm probably going to spend all weekend loading up on soundbites from Art of Noise to Zim, and assigning them to everybody who calls me. :)
