Each day I play with this thing I figure out how to make it do more tricks. Soon I'm going to try uploading a few java apps, now that I have the java engine working properly.
The colors are sharp, and it can actually do the full 19.2 that my provider can push (vs. 9600 like my older model). I can't wait for GPRS to go online so I can get real data speeds, though.

The first time I heard someone else use phrases like 'puter (for computer and something I'd been saying since about 82) and Computer Comfortable (as in, no computer literate but not an idiot either, I think that has a 96ish time stamp) I was exstatic!
