As my roomate puts it, I gained another bit (in binary terms, that is). I've also gained a mild sunburn -- my first in about 5 years. No worries, it's only just a little reddening and heat; enough to let me know I pushed it a little too far. I blame it on the deceptively cool sea breezes masking the heat of the sun. My usual 'find some shade, you pale redhead!' auto-responses didn't kick in.

Bastille day it is, so I'm now 2^5. It doesn't feel like a birthday, though; I was away at a racetrack where my sisters couldn't birthday-cake ambush me as has become a bit of a tradition. Didn't know I would miss such a thing until, well, I missed it. Heh.
