790 images -- all done!
Mar. 13th, 2003 09:35 pmThat's how many made it to the last stage. All of them sharpened, cropped, leveled. Done, finally! I've learned a little more since last year, but I can see I still have much to learn when it comes to studio photography. Of course, doing it en masse, assembly-line style to the tune of >1000 raw photos in two nights probably doesn't encourage the best habits in either shooting or post-processing. :)
Sure, that many frames of less subjects would be good: it would allow for more studies of single forms and let me be a lot more pick-and-choosy about what ends up as the final project. But with the sheer number of folks that showed up that's a quick 4 to 8 frames of each one done rapid-fire, then Next! There's a line waiting, Please Hurry!
Now it's over to
revar for the database and image number->name correlation. When the DB is up and going (tonight or tomorrow hopefully it's just a matter of deciphering handwriting and doing a little bulk data entry. Pretty easy stuff. Then master CD's for the Saturday party, and archival stuff. Webstuff and snailmail stuff to come after.
