Picture Quiz 3

tugrik1 and 2 were in the last picture quiz post. As written in the comments, #1 was a closeup of an eye (mine, the left) and a surface mount resistor on a circuit board.
I had one pic from today's trip come out nice looking but enigmatic. So, here's the next picture quiz. Who can guess what this is?
