*waves shyly* Hello Tugrik! Just wanted to say how much I love these and the other Tiki designs! I'd just been drawing tons of them for work, and by chance while prowling LJ I found these posts. Wonderful designs, and so nice of you to do all that! :) I like how you've adapted the Surf Safari logo to fit so nicely on the back of each, too. :)

Good to meet you. I've seen your name around lots and hear cool things aboutya. Thank you for the kind words. :) I'm just a gadget geek who relies on those with true artistic input to exercise all the machines with. If you have any tiki designs (or anything really) you'd like lasercarved, CNC-milled or fine-art printed, just ask! I'd be more than glad to help. I added you to the lists for all the printing work and such, so feel free to dig back in my journal to see lots of other stuff beyond just the tiki-things.

I'm mostly just using Foof's surf-safari design so that they'll stay on theme. Folks who're doing custom backs I happily use instead.

My design skills are slllloooowwwwly improving as I pick up ability by osmosis, what with all the talented folk who are kind enough to send in ideas. :)

I have to say the same about you! :) I'm just shy and bad about approaching people. *blushes* And from what I have seen and heard, I would say you've got a fair share of creativity yourself, to do all you do! :D

Your posts about all the things you do are fascinating, too! I do graphic design and illustration, but it's not half as interesting. Though... *laughs* our keyboards look very similar! ;D
