FC2009 Parade Posters
Feb. 4th, 2009 02:33 pmAfter the Further Confusion 2009 parade the participants all marched out the front door as one big group.
kreggan went up on a lift with his Nikon camera and captured a really cool image of the event:

He's going to post the full sized version on his own site for folks to download; this is just a scaled down copy. The big one has quite a bit more detail. Kreggan and the FurtherConfusion staff gave me permission to sell large-format posters of the full sized image, similar to the ones you may have seen posted in the lobby and behind the registration desk during the last days of the convention.
While I'll offer other medias in the future, for now all copies of this poster will be on Kodak Satin material, a thin and tough paper with a gentle shine. The posters will be priced at a discount of $4.00/sqFt as the convention would like them to be more affordable so that more attendees can have the chance to buy one.
Since my media comes in 42" and 24" rolls, here are the sizes and prices:
42" x 56" $65.00
32" x 42" $38.00
24" x 32" $22.00
18" x 24" $12.00
Domestic shipping will be $10 (for anywhere from 1 to 5 posters), which covers a shipping tube and USPS mail.
International shipping varies between $15 and $35 depending on the destination country and how fast you want to get it.
Payment will be via PayPal. Please use the PayPal button on this post, or rop me a line at tugrik@gmail.com if you want multiples or have questions first. I plan to start doing the prints and mailing them out next week. Thank you. :)

Date: 2009-02-04 11:10 pm (UTC)My sense are almost overwhelmed by this sheer mass of fursuits.
I say almost because my QA sense pokes at me and compels me to ask:
Is that Uncle Kage in the wheelchair, and if yes, what happened to him?

Date: 2009-02-05 03:24 am (UTC)A quick-and-dirty estimate from the photo says there are at least 200 there (13 or more wide, 16 or more high, and not counting people in shadows in the back).
Someone more bored than I am can hunt down a parade video and count ;).
