I know that felines are lazy, lazy beasts, sleeping something like 18+ hours a day. It's just amusing to see it proven. I've been using the new webcam to peek in on their favorite sleeping-spots off and on through the day. They've not moved more than the 6-or-so inches required to roll over since Revar left for work. They probably won't move until one of us comes home. :)

FWIW, the "End of the World" flash animation you alluded to was a big hit at the office (though "Titanium Rhapsody" still takes first place; the reaction to the lip synching was amusing).

Cats have a great life don't they. :) Personally, I don't care if they sleep all day as long as they have a little energy when I'm home. My cats spring to life when I get home at the end of the day. It's quite funny. I've gone home during the day on occasion though and always find them asleep so your theory is correct Tug.

Evil webcams. At one point I was curious what my cat did when I wasn't home. So I set up a little webcam pointing at the couch she would occasionally claw and sleep on to see if I could have my own kitty cam.

What I found was that from the moment I left the apartment, until i returned that evening, the cat would curl up in a tight little ball against the door and wait to hear me come home.

Nothing breaks your heart like that when you realize that you have a job that keeps you late a lot and she just waits there until you come home.
