One of the questions I've seen repeatedly asked is "is LOTR a more important, more powerful trilogy than the original Star Wars trilogy was?"

As for me? Even when giving great allowances for the changes in movie-making tech and all the ways cinema has grown and considering just how die-hard a fan of the first three Star Wars movies I am? My answer is yes. Undoubtedly, wholeheartedly yes. The LOTR movies kick the tail of the StarWars ones, no question.

Mr. Jackson, I tip my hat to you.

Return of the King - Definitely on my must see list. Can't wait. LOTR's is a great trilogy. I agree. ;)

Considering the whole concept of the modern trilogy sprouted from LOTR, it's hard to see how it could lose.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The part that always tickles me pink is that I've liked Jackson's work since "Meet the Feebles." =};-3

I have always loved LOTR ever since I first read it more than 20 years ago, and the latest movie version series is outstanding. We have been watching the expanded versions of the first two movies getting ready for the Return of the King. Don't know if Shannon and I can wait for Revar to go see it. --Or maybe we'll all go see it again together.
