quick mention, spoiler-free
Dec. 17th, 2003 04:14 amOne of the questions I've seen repeatedly asked is "is LOTR a more important, more powerful trilogy than the original Star Wars trilogy was?"
As for me? Even when giving great allowances for the changes in movie-making tech and all the ways cinema has grown and considering just how die-hard a fan of the first three Star Wars movies I am? My answer is yes. Undoubtedly, wholeheartedly yes. The LOTR movies kick the tail of the StarWars ones, no question.
Mr. Jackson, I tip my hat to you.
