One of my hobbies is photography. Normally I do landscape and portrait work. Later on, I'll post some of it to let those who read this journal get a peek at what I do.

New to me, though, is motorcycle photography. I've been trying to learn how to take the kind of shots that would get used in a magazine. One fine day in December, my buddy Dusty had me follow him up to Junction -- a nice little place halfway between Patterson, CA and Mount Hamilton, on some of the best motorcycle roads in the state. There we sat outside the little tavern and worked on some product shots in the late-day winter sun.

Much to my surprise... they got used. I know it's just a web-based magazine and not 'real print', but I'm proud nonetheless. For those curious to see them:

(yes, I know, my name isn't on the credits. It was a miscommunication between the magazine and Dusty. He's fixing that as I type this.)

It just makes me grin, y'know?
