Understanding the cry.

tugrikWhy do dragons roar? Are they displaying their power, their strength? Are they challenging any who'd step near? Or are they calling out to be heard, to be comforted from all that's harsh in the world?
Amidst the terror of tooth and claw, fire-breath and lightning strike, the fearful onlooker might miss the most important thing of all: they're creatures of passion, with emotions of incredible depth. Any who've braved their presence to get near -- and survived the experience -- knows this to be true in ways impossible to fully explain.
While they are still the ultimate mystery to me... some days, just a little... I think I can understand, and hear the roar for what it is. I'll stand strong, and learn.
