One of my favorite photos from this weekend's desert vacation. It's an image I hope
desertcoyote,
chipotle and my other coyote-compliant friends will appreciate. It was taken near Scotty's Castle in the last half-hour before sunset, from about 200' out. Even though it's only 800 pixels wide, it's been cut-tagged for friendlist safety.

Date: 2003-01-20 11:59 pm (UTC)I saw a coyote last March over in Mt. Diablo National Park, just loping along the side of the road in broad daylight. Came within 10 feet of him, and he just started curiously without running away. I really wish I could've taken a picture, as he had a gorgeous ruddy coat, but alas, no camera.

Date: 2003-01-21 10:32 am (UTC)We reputedly have coyotes around where we're at -- they come pester the dogs all the way at the far end of the complex. As of yet, I've only seen deer, and K has seen a fox twice and turkeys once.

Didja get any other poses?
