If you'd like, there is a fullsized version of that pic. If you ever want to visit, it's a very simply day-ride just up 680 a ways; it can be done in a long afternoon. Absolutely beautiful area, and very fun by bike.

The two cloudy pictures are the west slope (the one you asked about) and the south slope (the one Yoru mentioned) of Mt. Diablo, just outside of Walnut Creek, CA. It's the largest vista in the western hemisphere. The position of the mountaintop lets you see from the ocean to Lake Tahoe on a clear day... and north all the way to Mt. Shasta.

I was up there with Reba a year ago December, well above the clouds. You can find a handful of pics from that day here on one of my older servers. Someday I need to get my older photo directories put onto the main imageserver. Let me know what you think. :)
