18 people for an impromptu midsummer BBQ. Everybody got enough food. Good conversation was had. The new table worked out great. Many video games were played (especially Rock Band and Boom Blox). Relaxed, no-worries, no-stress. We talked work, talked shop, talked stories. Smiles all around.

Burgers, Louisiana hot-links, pork chops, buffalo steak, corn on the cob, mac-n-cheese, rice, grilled asparagus, shrimp, home-made salsa & guacamole, various chip types, brownies, tons of soda and no less than five 3qt jugs of Red Rose iced tea.

When it was all done Jenna, Astolpho, Revar and I had the house completely cleaned in only a few short minutes. We managed to hand off most all the leftovers with just enough food left over for us to snack on all weekend long. Oh, and freshly made Dulce du Leche ice cream. :9

Many, MANY thanks to all who showed up. Doubly so to Astolpho and Jenna for instigating the whole thing and bringing their own lion's share of the food. :)

12 hours long, incredibly fun. It was the best way to spend the 4th. How'd your holiday go?
