Brooch/clasp project
Oct. 12th, 2008 08:00 pmAs a side note, Revar and Dracosphynx finished the steampunk costume clasp they were working on. It uses a number of the available Monoceros Metalworks technologies. It's got milled brass, precision metal cutting, chemical aging and laser-carved wood. The unit opens and shuts with the original watch pushbutton mechanism and will be worn around the neck. It looks good and is quite functional. Oh, and being mostly brass and copper it weighs in at a hefty 5.5oz.

I'll let Dracosphynx leave comments on precise aging technologies and such things later if desired. :)
