Sadly, Amendment 2 received resounding support in Florida, from what I've read so far. kiarrh and I are trying to find the elusive third voter out there who voted against it...we figured we'd do coffee or something. :(

I lived in Colorado during the Amendment 2 campaign and aftermath (1992-1995). That constitutional amendment specifically targeted gays, lesbians, and bisexuals for discrimination. It went all the way to the US Supreme Court and was defeated by every court along the way.

I suspect this issue will ultimately be decided by the US Supreme Court, and even if we win, the homophobes will never stop.
