I hate to do this, but with taxtime taking a nice big chomp-hold on my tail and other expenditures, I don't think I have the luxury of keeping my Canon EOS D30 camera body as a backup. Before I stuff it up on eBay next to the binocs I figured I'd post it here for my LJ friends to get a shot at first.
They're going for about $700 used on eBay in various conditions, FYI. This is what you'd get with the one I'm selling:

In order to take pictures you'll also need a lens and media (compact flash, type I or II). I've got a Sigma 100-300 (retails for $210) I'll throw in for $80 additional if you want.
This camera has shot two of the FC Photo Shoots and 95% of all the images on my imageserver page. It's a solid performer. Considering I bought it for $2499 a few months after it came out (the early adopters paid $3000!) this is a heck of a deal. If I didn't need to get rid of old equipment to finance the new (and the taxes) I'd definately be holding on to it. Make me an offer? :)

- D30 body in pristine condition, about 8000 frames on the clock.
- Brand new single-battery charger (the one that came with my 10D)
- The much improved software (that also came with the 10D)
- USB cable
- Neckstrap
- Video cable
- New BP-511 battery (again, from my D10, to sweeten the deal)
