Two days of shooting. 17.97GB of data. Much fun, many great meet-ups and very few problems. Another successful year for the FC Photoshoot!

Oh, and the Tikis? Half of them are gone. Enough were sold for the project to have paid for itself. I'm quite happy with the results. We'll be taking the rest with us as we hang out at the con on Sunday if anybody still wants one!

We're also going to do a biiiiiig print of the outside fursuit-gather photo Kyreeth provided us with, in hopes the con lets us display it in the registration lobby. :)

For those who're following my LJ for more news about downloading photos, buying prints or other FC Photoshoot information, I won't have much posted up until the following weekend. I have some crunch-time issues to get crackin' on at work and I need to concentrate on them first. Soon, I promise!

Glad to see you're having fun out there, Tug. :) It sucks I couldn't make it out there and hang out with you this year...

That's great to hear that the Tikis worked very well. They were just such a wonderfully awesome idea for the con. I've also heard a lot of incredibly good comments for the Masquerade Awards that you did. You (Tug and Monoceros Media) are quite an asset to FC and I am very happy to have you working with us!

I'll see if we can find a good place for the big fursuit photo. I would love to see that displayed out!

There are now two copies, both 42x56 in size. One goes to Kyreeth for him to keep; the other goes to the con. Where would you like it delivered? I'll be at-hotel around 3p or so.

(or leave me a number to SMS you at, etc. tugrik@gmail.com)

We're very glad to have contributed to the con; it's a lot of fun for us! But to be sure, the bulk of the thank-yous for the awards go to Foofers, not us. He did all the design work; we just pushed buttons on the laser machines. :)

If the convention has ideas for specialized patron items, fursuit badges or general convention attendee items, please, let us know!

If there are any of the hula bunny ones left, would you be willing to set one aside for me? I'm perfectly willing to pay for it.

I'm very glad I was able to spend time with you this year. And thanks for getting this shy bird in front of the camera. I've always meant to but never acted through on it.

Oddly, I think having just one day at the con really focused me. I tried not to waste time. If I needed downtime from the press of so many people around, I went to quieter areas, rather than hiding up in my room. I was constantly mindful that I had limited time and certain people I wanted to see, and as far as I know, there was only one person I really wanted to see that I missed (but I miss him every year, so it's almost a joke that I will never see him at-con). Instead of thinking "Oh, I have plenty of time for that later" and never getting to it, I made sure to get done as much as I could from 9:30am to midnight. Loooooong day, and there were events that I naturally missed, but that always happens at a con, and I had a good time without regretting anything except that it'll be such a long time before I see certain people again.
