An MZDM Thankyou
May. 2nd, 2003 12:54 amOne of the biggest sites on The Purrsia Projects (our mini-ISP) are the forums for Master Zen-Dao Meow: The Napping Cat's Dream. We've hosted them for 3+ years now and in that time they grew to the largest bandwidth of any of our projects.
We were getting crushed, bandwidth-wise... by all the sites we host combined. So we went to the highest few and asked them kindly if they had other options they could move to. Much to my surprise, the MZDM forums said they'd move. Much to our pleasure, they were absolutely polite and respectful about it. It's been a painless move on our end and so far smooth sailing on theirs. We're both winners, here: They're going over to a better host that's more capable of keeping their level of traffic flowing. We're getting a huge slice of bandwidth back, so we can once again help out a smaller newbie comics artists that could really use the help.
Normally when a forum is asked to move on the users pitch a fit... and often direct their wrath at the machine-hosts that prompt the move. Instead they too have been helpful and kind. They even sent Revar and I a "thank you" picture, which I've hidden behind the cut tag.

These folk rock. :)
