Working on awards for the FC2010 Masquerade. These ones were over-cured so they had a bubbling problem, but they were still good for paint tests. Final ones will be done on Tuesday, just a hair before the convention. Talk about cutting it close...

So for those of you entering the masquerade at the convention -- good luck at winning your own gold (or silver) ingot!

Man, you are absurdly talented. These are brilliant. 3D CNC wood router gun is amazing too.. Can't wait to see it up close!

Over-cured? Uh oh. Was this the batch we poured last night?

oh, nononono... these are the 'bad bricks' that we did test carves of while you were there.

The bricks we poured last night were cured by midnight and popped out of their molds. The fronts are bubble-free, but the backs had some kinds scary-huge bubbles. Still, they will make for good awards with the felt backing!

FYI, wood-filler putty seems to have done the trick. Along with some sanding, the backs are A-OK now.
