Just thought I'd report that the leetle seestah is back, safe and sound, from her military sojourn in the mideast. They finally rotated her home! *does a happy-thud-crashabout-dance* I actually got to see her today. She's looking a bit tired from the long travel and scarily tan (our family of mostly-norwegian lightskins really don't tan) from all the desert heat.

I'm just glad she's back. Now to take her drunken-monkey bowling.

That's a spot of relief!

So does it look like she's actually going to be able to go back and try to get into law enforcement, or is it too likely she'll get called out again, or is it just too soon to be thinking about any of that?

She can't re-enter Police Academy until the next session in January. Until then she's a city employee (by law they can't fire folks for doing their National Guard duty). She has no idea what they're going to have her do, but I'm sure they'll come up with something.

She doubts she'll get called out again. If she does it'll probably be 6mo. to a few years before she does, barring Shrub doing something incredibly stupid again.
