Seriously. The phrase "Laser Vent" brings images of something far more exotic than "vent that pulls dust away from the laser cutter".
Of course, once you start down that road, the phrase "Laser Cutter" brings up images of something with a coherent photon drive and a Coast Guard racing stripe.
I'm pleased that I'm not the only one with a sufficiently wild imagination. :3 We should get right on the Coast Guard photon-drive vessel, if only for laughs.
The fan is on the roof; it's a waterproof/weather-sealed unit, permanently wired in, with a light-switch on the wall (which you see on the picture there). It means that inside you only hear the moving air, not the screaming blower. :)
