Old West Gun Prop

Our friend dustykat is setting up his costume with a traditional Old West Gunfighter getup: poncho, cee-gar, big ol' floppy hat, holster and el pistola. Being a convention and all, he can't really use a real gun... so I figured I'd try my hand at carving one out of wood with the 3D CNC wood router.

I'd say it worked out rather well.

Okay that's shaping up to be a sexy costume just by that preview, I must see this in person! But I'll be tied to my table, any way I can maybe hope and pray he comes by? I'd love to get a look at the finished product :D *loves this year's theme*

The poncho he got is _perfect_. Personally, with his handlebar mustache and all, I think he should spend a day walking around the con in full kit without the fursuit; he can really pull it off. Wearing his DustyKat bobcat suit it'll work too, though. He's been nosed to pull by and say hi to you, yesyes. :)
